Life Between Films

Happy Martin Luther King Day. I hope everyone has a good one. Did you know that there are a handful of movies based on the life of MLK that are stalled in pre-production or production. What’s the hold up? Primarily the issue on how true to life to portray the man. As you may or may not know, it has been rumored that MLK was unfaithful to his wife on a number of occasions. So the question is, can you bring this up and still show him to be the face of the civil rights movement? I think the answer is yes. But others, including MLK’s family, disagree.
