Fruit-filled tarts.
Yep, baking is my new thing now. I got this new cookbook the other day (which is so great from a visual perspective). I love baking; it’s so relaxing (that is until you get to the dishes and cleaning the kitchen afterwards ::smile::) Don’t these tarts look great? I made them myself. I’m so proud. I took them to the office and shared them with everyone. Which reminded me of…
My Favorite Foodie Movies:
- Ratatouille. So, yes, rats in the kitchen aren’t sanitary but this film about a rat with a dream is so cute and charming. And I love that it’s set in Paris
- Soul Food. Food is synonymous with family togetherness in the Black community, and this film showcases it the best along with plenty of drama, love, jealousy, and greed.
- Sideways. This film made me think that bromantic road trip films should be a new genre all by itself. Throw in some borderline wine alcoholism and it’s always a fun time.
Can’t say that I’ve seen alot of movies where food was in the forefront. What are your favorites?
