Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton are vampire lovers through the ages, James McAvoy trades him his good guy image for one of depravity, and Tom Hardy drives for exactly 1.5 hours with a particular destination in mind.

“Only Lovers Left Alive” (limited)
Director: Jim Jarmusch
Cast: Tom Hiddleston, Tilda Swinton, Mia Wasikowska, John Hurt, Anton Yelchin, Jeffery Wright
Synopsis: Set against the desolation of the once-vibrant cities of Detroit and Tangier, an underground musician, deeply depressed by the direction the world is going, reunites with his resilient and enigmatic lover. Their love story has already endured at least several centuries, but their debauched, romantic idyll is soon disrupted by the woman’s wild and uncontrollable younger sister.
I have never seen anything from director Jim Jarmusch, but this film that brings together the unlikely pair of Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston as centuries old lovers is intriguing enough. It has been playing at the world’s biggest film festivals since Cannes to great reviews so… interest peaked.
